Today, I discovered My Wedding Weather through The Weather Channel. This is SO NEAT! It tells you when the sun will set, the current weather in the city you are marrying [ours is in Ohio, we live in South Carolina], and weather data from previous years. 10 days out, it will automatically email me the 10 day forecast, and two days before starts sending an hour by hour forecast so you can plan accordingly. This would be especially useful if you were having an outdoor wedding! Hooray for The Weather Channel!
At any rate, with my 3:30 wedding, sunset is at 5:03 and the "dusk" period lasts until about 5:34 which will hopefully make for some beautiful pictures! You know...[my photographer told me] it is actually more desireable to have less natural light. As in, a bright sunny day isn't always the ideal for the photographer - too much natural light. So I am keeping a positive outlook and just hoping for the best. Now that school is nearly back in session, my goal is not to get stressed out, and coast on in to the wedding day!
I am overall very pleased with my teacher's summer break [bonus] and getting to complete so many projects. At this point, I am quite confident in where I stand and only have a few details for the day of the wedding [times of arrival, etc.]. SIGH OF RELIEF!
